Object - the system of professional post-graduate education of teachers technical subjects; the aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally checked technology on the formation of psychological and pedagogical competence in teachers of technical subjects in the system of professional post-graduate education; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research is the first to work out, substantiate and experimentally test the technology of psychological and pedagogical competence forming in teachers of technical subjects in the system of professional post-graduate education; the definition of the term "psychological and pedagogical competence of teachers of technical subjects" is determined as a complex of key competence blocks the influence of pedagogical conditions of psychological and pedagogical competence forming in future specialists is revealed in accordance with the determined directions of its formation; the definitions of the terms "post-graduate pedagogical education", " teachers' of technical subjects professional qualification raising" have; the content and modes of post diploma pedagogical education of teachers of technical subjects based on competence approach to working out and implementation of teaching programmes have acquired further investigation; results - theoretical and methodological support materials for the implementation of technology of psychological and pedagogical competence forming in teachers of technical subjects in the system of professional post-graduate education have been worked out: they are the teaching sets: "Management in Education" (approved by Ministry of Education and Science), " Management of Institutions" for Master degree students (specific groups); teaching manuals: " Foundations of Management in the System of Professional Technical Education" (approved by Ministry of Education and Science), "Technique of Management Activity" (approved by Ministry of Education and Science). The teaching course "Development of Readiness of Teachers of Technical Disciplines to Professional Self-improvement" (for Master degree students of some groups, postgraduates, professional development course students) prepared by the author of the research has been implemented in the teaching process; field - pedagogy.
