The theoretical and methodological foundations of professional training of the specialists of humanitarian profile in the conditions of second higher education are substantiated in the thesis. The basic concepts and the authors concepts are analyzed and clarified. The analysis of the problem of the becoming the second higher education of the humanitarian profile in historical and pedagogical context is made. The basic world tendencies in the development of adult education and their impact on the system of second higher education of humanitarian in Ukraine are differentiated. The conceptual approaches are grounded; the effectiveness of the andragogic model of professional training of the specialists of humanitarian profile in the conditions of second higher education is developed and experimentally confirmed. The educational and methodical complex is created; the author's andragogy technology is developed and implemented in the educational process; the further ways of the development of professional training of the specialists of humanitarian profile in the conditions of second higher education on the basis of contemporary trends in education are projected.
