During the research the features of the motor function of the injured lower limb of athletes with damage to anterior cruciate ligament of the knee were studied. The author proposed the concept of physical rehabilitation of athletes with damage to anterior cruciate ligament of the knee joint, which is based on the general provisions, theoretical, methodological and organizational bases allow to define scientificallypractical direction of scientific research leading factors that influence the effectiveness of motor function's recovery of the injured lower limb, to develop an automated computer program screening impaired motor function and assess the effectiveness of physical rehabilitation
