Essay

Object of study: motivation sphere of the person in in health and mental disoders. Purpose of study: on the basis of psychological factors, established in theoretical and empirical research, and components to construct model of achievement motivation, which would be adequate for understanding of a researched phenomenon in health and mental disoders and would suit as a basis for methodical substantiation of its development and harmonization. Methods: 1) complex method; 2) methods of the tax of the information: а) theoretical – theoretical analysis of special psychological and medical sources, study and generalization of experience; б) empirical – methods of the switched supervision, active study and modeling, analysis of results of activity, psychodiagnostic techniques; 3) methods of data processing: а) qualitative – analysis, synthesis, comparison; б) quantitative – methods of statistical processing, graphic submission of the data; 4) interpretation methods. Scientific novelty: the work carried generalization and new solution of the problem of achievement motivation in normal and mental disorders; it has been proposed and empirically verified equilibrium-dynamical model of achievement motivation, which is adequate for understanding an investigated phenomenon in norm and mental disorders; it is shown that mental health is associated with the presence and balance of the two components of motivational sphere, which are in a state of unstable equilibrium; these are adaptation and transcendence; it has been proved that people with mental disorders have reduced achievement motivation both components; adaptive component is changing, defined by a narrowing of adaptive features; transcendental component occurs only in the context of psychological structuring by persons with mental disorders of their past. Practical significance: theoretical basics of motivational balance program are developed, program is tested and it’s effectiveness for a group of the norm and persons with mental disorders is proven. Implementation effect: high. Scope of application: institutions of higher education.
