The thesis undertakes a complex research of theoretical and applied issues arising from the private interest realization in the sphere of criminal proceedings. The work considers the peculiarities of the legal nature and the realization of private interest in criminal proceedings. The specific of private interest influence upon criminal procedure legal relationship as well as on regulatory standards of criminal procedural activities is also explored. Current practice-applied problems, pertaining to the private interest realization in terms of general procedure-based criminal proceedings conduct as well as in differentiated forms of criminal justice have been analyzed. It has been established that the procedural specifics of the latter results from the increased significance of the private interest in this legal relation. The suggestions concerning the improvement of a number of current Ukrainian criminal procedural legislation institutions have been put forward.
