Essay

Dissertation is devoted to research the immunophysiological status of dogs depending on their age, sex, breed and season of the year. The new features and patterns of formation of adaptive immunity in different periods of ontogeny and its dependence on the breed and the season are revealed. It found that dogs of decorative breeds have lower indices of cellular immunity. It is proved that immunophysiological status of dogs depends on the age, sex and breed. It was found that with increasing of the dog’s age the relative number of lymphocytes is significantly reduced. Thus among females reducing the number of lymphocytes is more pronounced than in males. It is shown that the seasons of the year effect on the immunophysiological status of dogs. In the autumn and winter, the number of immune cells decreased by 20–30 % compared to the spring and summer. It is found that the «active» T-lymphocytes has surfactants receptors to adrenaline, GABA, neuroantigens of retina and herpetic antigen, and depending on their degree of sensitization varies the immunophysiological condition. The dependence of immunophysiological status of dogs from the index of stresses and receptor activity of neutrophils is shown. Optimum performance of immunograms where at index of stresses in the range of 1,4–1,8 and the number of neutrophils rosette of 50 to 70 %. Persistence immunoregulatory index during the procedure of plasmapheresis indicates the absence of an imbalance of immunity during its conduction. The efficient, radically new ways of carrying out the dogs’ immune correction with a preliminary estimation of the degree of sensitization to immune drugs and forecasting of possible complications with the introduction of biologically active substances of immunotropic action are suggested.
