The dissertation work is the system scientific-and-historical research in which on the basis of complex of sources and application of modern methodological approaches is generalized characteristic tendencies of becoming and development of mechanization and automation in animal husbandry of Ukrainian SSR determined by mostly theoretical, methodological and institutional factors. The content and dynamics of development of its fundamental directions, studies and theories, united in the system on the basis of methodological principles, their place in forming of modern strategy of development of animal-breeding were characterized.
