The dissertation deals with the problem of theoretical and methodological basis of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine specialists' professional training using distance learning technologies ; the structure and peculiarities of border guards' professional training in Ukraine and other countries have been defined. The concept and the system of professional training of the future officers- border guards with the use of the technologies of distance learning have been worked out; the criteria and the levels of well-formedness of their professional training have been determined.
