In the thesis it is given theoretical generalization and results of experimental studies which solve an important scientific and applied problem of the management of soil water regime, the processes of growth and development of vegetable crops, the increasing of productivity and quality indices under drip irrigation. According to the results of the research for the hydrothermal conditions of the southern region it was established the regularities of evapotranspiration and total water consumption of cucumber, tomato, onion and red beet.
