Essay

Object: Interwar Ukrainian political emigration in Poland. Objective: comprehensive analysis and critical thinking of ideology, composition, structure of Ukrainian political emigration, its activities for protection the rights of Ukrainians, contribution to the preservation and enhancement of national identity of Ukrainian nation, the practice of establishing legal forms and methods of social and political activity in Volyn voivodeship in the context of features of Polish national policy in the interwar period. Methods: historicism, many factors, objectivity, consistency, continuity, historical anthropologism, reliance on historical sources, universal general scientific, special. Results: for the first time introduced into scientific circulation and processed new and not previously studied archival sources, periodicals in interwar period, covers the formation, evolution, regional differences for emigre institutions in Volyn voivodeship, disclosed relationships between Ukrainian political emigration of the local Ukrainian population and the relationship with Polish authorities have different ideological groups among the Ukrainian political emigration in Volyn, studies the formation and development of monarchical component of Ukrainian immigration, conducted a comprehensive analysis of immigrants in the Volyn voivodeship on national rights of the Ukrainian community in terms of the Second Polish Republic, traced forms and methods of public activity for immigrants covered unexplored historiography figures representatives of emigration, analyzed the intellectual legacy of Ukrainian immigrants in "Volyn period" of their activities. Scope of application: during the preparation of generalizing works on the modern history of Ukraine, Poland, the scientific and local history and museum work.
