Essay

The acts of mass violence in Lviv in the period from June 22 to July 4, 1941 are comprehensively characterized, in particular, the internal dynamics of relations between national communities in Lviv, in particular during the Soviet occupation, are studied, and its influence on the radicalization of the urban community is determined, the correlation between the level of violence is studied , urban space and the dynamics of violence, and also analyzed the role of exogenous and endogenous factors in provoking acts of mass violence and establishing their relationship with events. The object of the research is the city of Lviv and the Lviv community during the first two weeks of the German-Soviet war. The subject of the dissertation is the acts of mass violence in Lviv between June 22 and July 4, 1941. To solve the tasks, the work uses general scientific and special historical methods, as well as the micro-historical research methodology, which is combined in the dissertation with the so-called "entangled history" (allows to analyze each event not in particular, but in complex connection with other events).
