Essay

Object - the process of training future specialists in Rhetoric in different types of educational institutions in Ukraine; the aim - to provide a comprehensive analysis of the theory and practice of training in Rhetoric as a component of professionally-oriented training, to generalize the practice of training in Rhetoric in different types of educational institutions in Ukraine in order to stimulate implementation of previously accumulated achievements in present day educational practice; methods - theoretical, historical-structural, historical-genetic, historical-chronological, retro-praximetric, empirical; novelty - the research is the first to provide a comprehensive analysis of the development of Rhetoric as a component of professionally-oriented training in domestic and foreign educational systems; the theoretical methodological foundations of the development of Rhetoric as a component of professionally-oriented training are determined; the thorough analysis of professionally-oriented Rhetoric teaching is provided on the basis of study of social-political, ideological, cultural and pedagogical determinants; the historical-cultural and social-pedagogical aspects providing for the development of professionally-oriented Rhetoric training as a curriculum component in the domestic educational thought and teaching practice are analysed; the definitions of the essential terms of the researched phenomenon (General Rhetoric, Partial Rhetoric, Industry Rhetoric, Rhetoric Criticism, Rhetoric Skills, "Black Rhetoric") are specified; the scientific data on the specific aspects of training in Rhetoric in different types of educational institutions and the course curriculum varieties are analysed. 47 archival scientific sources as well as some new teaching and methodological literary sources are introduced for further study; results - the set of teaching recommendations on professionally-oriented Rhetoric teaching has been worked out on the basis of undertaken theoretical research. The materials of the research were used for compiling the "author's course programmes and teaching resources"(Children's Rhetoric, Academic Rhetoric, Business Rhetoric) , on the basis of the research the resource materials for teaching "Rhetoric", "Public Speaking", "The Ukrainian Language and Business Communication", "Modern Linguistic Communication" courses have been prepared; field - pedagogy.
