Essay

The dissertation generalizes theoretical and methodical principles of theory and practice of pilots’, air traffic controllers’ professional communication training in emergency flight conditions and extreme situations. It was also proved the multidimensional nature of this phenomenon on the broader scale. It was pointed out that professional communication is an important element of communication for professional information exchange; the features of English-language preparation of pilot-controller’s staff were identified; factors that influence on quality of professional aviation communication in the special terms were formed. The nature and specific features of special and extreme flight conditions, urgency and emergency situations in flight were analyzed in the research. The types of special conditions and emergency situations were classified; the conditions and factors, which may cause urgency and emergency situations, were determined. On the background of the analysis of the leading scientific ideas, revision of different fields of knowledge of the native and foreign scientists, the definitions «professional communication of pilots and controllers in special flight conditions» and «readiness to the professional English communication in special flight conditions» were analyzed. It was studied the contents and structure of students’ curriculum and syllabi in relation to the conducting of professional communication; the components of future aviation specialists’ readiness to the aforementioned professional communication in special flight conditions were determined, namely: motivational, professional and contents, psycho-physiological, reflexive and corrective; the methods of control and assessment of future aviation specialists’ professional communication training in special conditions were developed (including extensive computer use at all levels of studying process). It was pointed out the organizational and pedagogical conditions of future pilots and controllers’ professional communication training in special conditions, which are aimed at effective professional communication in special flight conditions. They are: the use of interdisciplinary approach in teaching of professional aviation subjects; the developing of students’ motivation to professional communication by the use of innovative technologies (information, interactive, computer and context studying; the organization of educational process with relation to cross-cultural communication, taking into account the aspects of cross-cultural cooperation of the participants in aviation environment; the curricula upgrade and developing of the methodological complex, which is aimed at improving of professional communication in special conditions; self-reflection of educational process. On the basis of the determined principles, organizational and pedagogical terms it was theoretically developed and grounded the pedagogical system of pilots and controllers’ professional communication training in special conditions. Methodological background of the suggested pedagogical system is based on organic functioning of scientific approaches, namely: systematic and systematic-structural; functional; competent; personality oriented; acmeological, activity, synergetic. The pedagogical system includes the following basic elements: aim, contents and tasks of future aviation specialists’ professional communication training; pedagogical principles (general and specific) of professional communication training; organizational and pedagogical conditions of studying process; the components of future pilots and controllers’ readiness to the professional communication in special conditions; the levels of readiness; organizational forms and methods of professional communication training in special conditions; the stages of forming of readiness; the result of professional communication training. It was experimentally verified and implemented in educational process the scientific and methodical provision for realization of pedagogical system of pilots and controllers’ training professional communication in special conditions.
