Stepanova O. National Cultural Space of Ukraine: Conceptual Principles of Development and Formation.

In the dissertation, the author defines the essence of national cultural space taking into account the categorization and conceptualization of the theme. It is seen as physical and geographical space that exists in the cultural time. Its constituents are determined by the deployment of the ethnic mytho-narrative, and its open scenario is reflected in the structure of its basic dimensions. The national cultural space is formed by the actions of carriers of value consciousness and manifests itself in the actions of concentrated axiological energy as the open socio-historical system. It is rooted in the national mytho-narrative worldview, and develops through the com-plex interaction of internal and external factors. The author, on the fundamental source and methodological basis, reviews different approaches to culture, cultural space, and specific features of national-historical development. In the context of re-search, the content of the concept of "explication" is defined as the expression of the main contradiction, which is manifested in the socio-historical phenomenon of a national culture.
