Fedirko O. Paradigm of local innovation development in the EU economy

The methodological foundations of the latest paradigm of local innovation development in the conditions of networking of the global economy are systematized and substantiated. The methodological essence, determinants and methods of parametric identification of the localization of innovation activity in the economic system of the European Union are investigated. The quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the models of the territorial concentration of innovation activity in the EU are revealed. The competitive position of the EU in the global technological space is analyzed, the modern trends of sectoral clusterization of the economies of the EU member states are characterized, the potential of technological leadership of the European business sector is estimated.
