Тhe topic of the Thesis, determines the scientific problem of the research, provides assessment of the state of its study, indicates the connection with the scientific programs, themes, formulated the purpose, objectives, object, subject and methods of the research, scientific novelty, practical significance and introduction of the results of the study. The study outlines the urban planning principles of spatial planning of mountain recreational areas of the Carpathian region of Ukraine. A new type of recreational formations in mountain conditions has been scientifically justified: a multi-profile ski complex of the year-round operation mode with the developed service infrastructure of "Apres-Ski". The dependence of the spatial planning of regional networks of mountain recreational areas of the Ukrainian Carpathians on the interconnection of settlement systems with objects of the natural reserve fund is established. The method of simulation of recreational flows, optimization models of recreational cluster and algorithms are developed: regulation of recreational flow, balanced development and innovative development of recreational areas. The task of determining the optimal value of the value of the recreational flow for comparison is solved by two methods - graphic and computer simulation, the use of which has undermined the identity of the results. We use of the cluster analysis method (the "k-medium" algorithm method) allowed the author to simulate recreational clusters of three types, which are formed at the interregional, regional and local levels. Using the k-medium method, the parameters of the functional-planning structure of the selected recreational entities with the subsequent stage of their association in the corresponding clusters - the resort, recreation and tourist profiles are illustrated on the example of the recreational cluster. The conceptual principles of spatial planning of mountain recreational territories, which are aimed at achieving regional "balance" of their development, are determined; increase of regional competitiveness, stimulation of the relations between urban and rural settlements; promoting the accessibility of recreational areas; priority development of modern types of recreation and tourism. The composition of the objects of the functional zone of the ski complexes "Apres-Ski" and the nomenclature of facilities with estimated indicators of socially guaranteed public service facilities for tourists on the territory of the Ukrainian Carpathians are developed. The range of services offered for skiing complexes is offered, which includes, in addition to the main types of services (hotel, catering, household, etc.) additional types (instructor, travel, banking, etc.) and special services (mountaineering, aerial and panoramic flights, snowboarding, super-pile, snow-park, snowshoeing, rafting, etc.). The basic scientific principles (ecological and urban planning balance, differentiation of recreational streams, creation of innovative objects, etc.) and methods of spatial planning of mountain recreational formations (basin, innovative, cascade-tiered and others) are formulated.
