The dissertation research is devoted to the study of the problem of future manager training in higher agrarian institutions of Ukraine, the Republic of Poland, and the Russian Federation. On the basis of a comparative analysis, the specifics of training of future managers in the system of higher professional education are presented. The current regulatory and legal support for Ukraine's educational legislation in the field of training specialists in higher agrarian educational institutions are analyzed in the dissertation. Classification of levels and degrees of higher education, directions of training and specialties of the agricultural profile are presented; the systematization of specialties based on the current legislation of Ukraine is carried out. The definition of an agrarian university is formulated depending on the structure and list of branches of knowledge for which the relevant specialists are trained. The branches of knowledge, directions of training and specialties of educational and qualification levels of bachelor, specialist and master in accordance with the preliminary and new editions of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" are defined. The comparative analysis of quantitative indicators of the admission process in the specialty "Management" from 2012 to 2015 in the context of Ukrainian agrarian universities of full-time and part-time studies is carried out. The scientific and methodological foundations for the training of future managers as a system are described, and its structural components are identified and justified. According to the developed system of indicators for assessing the effectiveness of introductory campaigns, their analysis is carried out in the context of agrarian universities of Ukraine. The recommendations concerning the implementation of the advanced practices of the analyzed countries into the Ukrainian system of future manager training are presented.
