Butyrska I. Political factors in the development of social policy in the new member states of the European Union

The political factors of social policy development in the new EU states are investigated. The theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of social policy are analyzed. The approaches to social policy in the states of the fifth enlargement of the EU are described. A systematic analysis of the political, economic and legal principles of the integration of the states of the CEE with the EU is carried out. The correlation between the level of democracy of the political system of society, the degree of the economic crisis and the desire of political leaders to change social policy in the states have been established. It is revealed that the integration of these states continues after their accession to the EU.
