Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of the scientific and applied problem of energy efficiency of regeneration in the systems of electrified transport. This is realized by developing scientific bases for the selection of rational energy-saving technologies to maximize the energy-saving potential from energy regeneration, which is an actual transport problem. The factors influencing the efficiency of the process of energy consumption of regeneration in electric transport systems are studied theoretically and experimentally. Models of interaction of vehicles in the regeneration mode with a traction and external power supply system are constructed. They take into account the existing limitations with respect to the voltage limits on current collectors and the flexibility of energy distribution to provide specified limits. The scientific method of estimating the potential of energy saving with the use of energy regeneration in electrified transport systems is improved. The methodology for modeling the energy regeneration zone is developed on the basis of mathematical and algorithmic constructivism. On its basis, a scientific method of rational (intelligent) control of the energy distribution of regeneration in electrified transport systems by the energy criterion is proposed. For this, expert systems and neuro-fuzzy logic are used. This will maximize the potential for energy regeneration in conditions of incomplete information on the modes of traction and external power supply systems.
