Flissak K. Methodological basis and mechanisms of using of economic diplomacy for Ukraine's integration into the world economy.

In the thesis were investigated theoretical and methodological bases of functioning of economic diplomacy as an objective component of modern international economic relations. It covers the main theoretical concept of economic diplomacy as an important component of ensuring national economic interests of the state. There were interpreted the essence of economic diplomacy as a science, as a specific form of activity of the state and its subjects and as an instrument of foreign economic activity. There were extended theoretical and methodological approaches to the allocation of levels of economic diplomacy: were given necessary arguments for usage bilateral and multilateral formats of interstate economic relations in the theoretical analysis. Also the multilateral level was divided into: regional, group, and universal. It was shown essential features of the dialectical relationship between these named levels. It discovers the basic sectoral and territorial vectors of economic diplomacy of Ukraine. There were considered the specifics of the energy diplomacy at the global level and at the level of Ukraine. There were proposed theoretical approaches to energy diplomacy as a separate component of economic diplomacy; clarified the specifics of the relevant actors economic diplomacy with the aim of creating favorable conditions for realization of export opportunities of domestic enterprises-producers of energy. Were shown the prospects for participation of Ukrainian representatives in the regional and global energy networks and infrastructure; clarified methodological principles with relation to diplomatic support of important international energy projects. Also were investigated some aspects of the solution to the problem of public external debt by instruments of economic diplomacy. Analyzed and summarized the experience of economic diplomacy of a number of leading countries of the world such as: Germany, Poland, UK, USA, China, Japan. On the basis of this systematization were allocated to common and distinctive features of economic diplomacy of the states named. With tools of economic and mathematical analysis it was made the estimation of results of foreign economic activity of Ukraine for the past 10 years. There were obtained the specific values of negative effects and hidden opportunities for export-import activities of Ukraine. Also there were proposed the method of assessing the effectiveness of economic diplomacy of Ukraine on the basis of objective quantitative indicators of the domestic economy, status and the dynamics of cooperation with foreign partners. There were developed the system of economic and mathematical models to determine the level of interdependence of indicators of financial provision by the state of functioning of diplomatic mechanisms in the foreign economic cooperation and effective evaluations of the individual country and its economic actors in this area. On the basis of the specificity of the economic diplomacy of the EU were justified the prospects of securing national interests in Ukraine's integration to the world economy by the mechanisms of economic diplomacy.
