Essay

This dissertation is the first in Ukraine research, in which, on the basis of provisions of the theory of criminal process, the generalization of investigative and judicial practice, is developed a modern concept for the application of criminal proceedings, taking into account the need for harmonization of criminal procedural legislation with European standards in the field of human rights and the administration of justice. The directions and ways of realization of scientific conclusions and proposals in legislative work and practice of criminal justice bodies concern a wide range of the most controversial and far from unique in the scientific and law-enforcement dimension of issues that require a conceptual understanding and solution in accordance with a radically new, European model, criminal procedural law are proposed. The place and the importance of measures to ensure criminal proceedings in the criminal justice system, as well as their correlation with measures of criminal procedural coercion іs determined.
