Stolitniy A. Electronic criminal proceedings at pre-trial investigation.

The dissertation addresses the historical development of pre-trial investigation, theoretical foundations and practice on developing and functioning of its electronic component. As proved, ensuring effectiveness of criminal procedural activities requires an establishment of a single information field of legal activity in its broad sense. The peculiarities of the implementation of electronic criminal procedural activities during the pre-trial investigation are analysed. The procedural status of the subjects of criminal proceedings is investigated in terms of their use of the electronic segment of pre-trial investigation. The best international experience of using electronic information systems and modern information technologies as a procedural component of pre-trial investigation is analysed.
