Object of the study: processes, trends and regularities of global economic interaction in the financial sphere; the purpose of the research: the development of a methodology for systematic study of geo-economic imperatives of the functioning of financial markets, as well as the justification on this basis of geo-economic strategies for their integration in the global economic space in conditions of its instability and turbulence; research methods and equipment: methods of abstraction, dialectics, logical-structural and system approaches, methods of logical and historical approach, methods of correlation-regression analysis and differential calculus, statistical methods of research of economic conditions; theoretical and practical results: the imperatives of geo-economic space and reasonable methodological approaches of analysis and instrumental response shows that the nature of their display and structuring of laws, contradictions or challenges defines the format of state, regional and global concepts, strategies and policies of economic development - financial, currency, debt, integration; concept functioning of financial markets of developing countries in the process of global economic transformations in the fundamental model-based regional financial markets in specifying basic principles of qualitative and quantitative performance criteria and complementary regulatory tools depending on the extent and depth of interstate integration interaction in the local segment of global geo space; categorial-conceptual apparatus in field research methodology, particularly based on the current understanding of the synthesis geopolitical, geo-economic and civilizational approaches to the study of economic processes in their regional dimension, the essence of "geo-economic space" and " geo-finance"; cyclical characteristic of financial markets at national and regional levels, as well as periodization of the process according to the 9-year cycle of financial crises (1970-1971, 1980-1981, 1987-1988, 1997-1998, 2007-2009), factors of global integration of financial markets, among which the key role is played by the deductibility of standardized credit, investment and currency transactions; methods and tools of economic and mathematical modeling of complex nonlinear financial processes, including functional dependence monetary aggregate M2 of the total national debt, which allowed determination of its safe corridor level rankings as belonging to a certain interval; a comprehensive comparative analysis of the financial markets of countries that are part of different geo-economic space localities through SWOT-assessment of problems and opportunities for effective development; the decisive influence on the global integration of financial markets of the process of their virtualization with the production of new financial instruments and regulatory mechanisms, in particular in the context of the expansion of the entrance to the global and regional turnover of cryptography, is projected; recommendations on the functioning and regulation of securities markets of countries that carry out large-scale market transformations are closely linked to privatization processes; in general, the destructive role of widespread proliferation of derivatives in a context of weak development in the countries of the primary, secondary and tertiary financial markets; substantiation of proposals on the use of the European Union's experience of euro-oriented countries with emerging financial markets in the implementation of legislative and regulatory regulations at the national and supranational levels; strategic positions and possible tactical negatives of harmonization and unification of financial standards and reporting standards are revealed; degree of implementation: developments implemented in the practical activities of the Subcommittee on International Economic Policy of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Economic Policy, Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations, Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on issues of family, youth policy, sports and tourism, Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Budget, Department of Industry and Enterprise Development of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration), PJSC "Alfa-Bank" (Ukraine), in the educational process of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law; scope: improvement of methodology of development of geo-economic instruments of functioning and regulation of financial markets of countries on the way of reformation.
