Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the training of future teachers of informatics to career guidance of pupils in secondary school. The new content lines of the career guidance work of the modern teacher are defined and characterized. The specifics of career guidance work of the teacher of informatics are grounded. The functions of the teacher of informatics in career guidance of pupils in secondary school are determined and theoretically grounded. The essence and structural components of the readiness of the future teacher of informatics for career guidance of pupils in secondary school are determined and substantiated (motivational, cognitive, practical-activity and reflective components). The theoretical and methodological foundations of training of future teachers of informatics for career guidance of pupils in secondary school are defined. The structural-functional model of training future teachers of informatics to career guidance in secondary schools and teaching and methodological support are developed. In order to check the effectiveness of the same model, a pedagogical experiment was carried out, the results of which proved the positive effect of its introduction on the readiness of the future teacher of informatics to career guidance work in secondary school. Theoretical positions and practical results can be used by scientists, educators, methodists, who carry out training and retraining of future teachers of informatics, in the process of teaching pedagogical, methodological, and informative disciplines in higher education institutions, in preparation of special courses, special seminars, textbooks, methodical manuals and recommendations; students during the execution of individual educational and research tasks, when writing course papers, master's works, during the course of pedagogical practice; pedagogical workers of the system of postgraduate pedagogical education, in distance learning.
