The dissertation substantiates the theoretical and methodical principles of forming the readiness of future teachers of Ukrainian literature to work with the theoretical-literary concepts and experimentally verifies the effectiveness of the author's experimental system. The author developed the system of forming the readiness of future teachers of literature to work with theoretical and literary concepts, which envisaged the definition of basic principles (general-edict, methodical, artistic education, specific), the organizational and pedagogical conditions, the stages of the readiness’ formation. In the process of research, a set of conditions has been determined, such as: the providing the future teachers of Ukrainian literature with the necessary complex of knowledge (the historical, literary, theoretical and literary, didactic-methodical courses), the formation of the skills and the abilities of the work with the theoretical-literary concepts at the lessons of Ukrainian literature, the providing the pedagogical management of this process; the implementation of author's special courses and teaching materials to the educational process; the renewal of traditional and the introduction of the innovative forms and methods of the disciplines from the professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian literature; the application of the methods and the means of the artistic comparativism; to involve students-philologist in active scientific activity; the organization of the pedagogical practice on an innovative basis. The system of forming the readiness of the future teachers-philologists for the working with the theoretical-literary concepts is integrated into a structural and functional model, which is presented in the form of a multi-level design and consists of the target, the theoretical-methodological, the content-activity and the criterion-effective blocks. The author created the methodics of the students-philologists’ professional training to the work with the different groups of the theoretical-literary concepts, for example: with the facts and phenomena of the literary process, with the content and formal components of the artistic work (the generic-genre organization, the plot and composition, the figurative system, the artistic and ideological content), with the means of the artistic expression.
