Annotation Tverytnykova O. Ye. The Scientific maintenance for the development of electrical engineering industry of Ukraine (1945–1991). – Мanuscript. Dissertation for obtaining the Doctor of Historical Sciences degree by 07.00.07 "History of Science and Techniques" specialty. – National Scientific Agricultural Library of NAAS, Kyiv, 2018. The dissertation is dedicated to the research of scientific bases development of the electrical engineering industry of Ukraine (1945-1991). The methodological base of the research has been defined, the degree of scientific development of the issue has been determined; the classification of the sources complex has been carried out. The scientists’ achievement of the Institute of Electrical Engineering (Electrodynamics) of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the leading polytechnic institutions in the objectives of theoretical bases and the development of applied research in the field of electrical engineering has been studied, and the contribution of the individual scientists in the formation of scientific directions and schools has been determined. The directions of the scientific research of the Institute for Modeling Problems in Power Energy of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR are systematized, and the contributions of H. Ye. Pukhov Academician are outlined. The process of the network organization of the branch research institutes that complemented the system of scientific support of the electrical engineering industry was researched. The characteristic features of the international cooperation development of Ukrainian electrical engineers are highlighted; the importance of patent-licensing activities in the effectiveness of innovative developments is highlighted. The analysis of the formation and development of the candidates and doctors of sciences training institute has been carried out, the peculiarities of the attestation system formation are revealed. The stages of the development of the training system of engineers for the electrotechnical industrial complex were characterized, the importance of the scientific research work of students in the training of skilled engineering and technical staff was determined.
