Siuta G. The quote in Ukrainian poetic text of the ХХ century: sources, pragmatics, reception.

The work is executed within the context of receptive stylistics. This is a new, integrative trend in stylistics, which combines the methods of various research and humanities paradigms, for which text is one of the key cognition objects (literature studies, semiotics, phenomenology, receptive aesthetics and poetics, lingual precedence etc.). At their intersection there is understanding of the active nature of the work, conditions of its stagnation or active development as a text. The important creative function of the reader is emphasized. This is the reader who creates conditions for "true existence" of the text, models or adjusts its content directly in the process of reading through its own interpretation, according to his intellectual experience, the depth of language and cultural memory. For linguistics, the quotation is the main unit of linguistic-cultural memory measurement. In the poetic text the quotation functions as a content, evaluative, aesthetic unit, the means for intertextual links implementation, intellectual and aesthetic culture integrity creation.
