Zapototskyy A. Theoretical grounds and practice of crimes investigation in the field of construction

Dissertation is a complex monographic research of theoretical and practical problems of crimes investigation in the field of construction. Approaches to definition of this term have been outlined; its features have been emphasized; criminalistic classification of crimes as a methodological foundation for developing of separate methods of such crimes investigation has been conducted. Comparative legal characteristic of main models of crimes pre-trial investigation in the field of construction in Ukraine, some Western European countries and the USA have been given. Content and connections of criminalistic characteristic elements (namely crime method and situation, target of crime, person who commit crimes, trace situation) have been disclosed. Methods of investigation of appropriation, embezzlement of property or its acquisition by abuse of authority (stealage), fraud with investment assets for housing construction, violation of labor protection and safety rules during construction have been developed. Practice and peculiarities of certain investigative (search) actions (specifically temporary access to items and documents as a precautionary move, using of special knowledge during crimes investigation in the field of construction have been studied.
