Essay

The research carried out a systematic analysis of the reunion strategies of the Republic of Korea and the DPRK in the face of modern challenges. The work analyzes the scientific approach of foreign and Ukrainian researchers with the aim of identifying the causes and the reasons of the Korea Peninsula division. There are clarified the conditions for the formation of modern political systems and institutes of Northeast Asia countries in accordance with social and political situation. There are explored the main concepts, which are the basis of international relation: idealism, realism, modernism, functionalism, institutionalism, neo-Marxism etc. There was pointed out that at the beginning of 20th century a new system of words order began and Asian Pacific sub-system and Northeast Asia took a special place in this system. There was mentioned that international political tendencies development in Northeast Asia was influenced by word geopolitical changes, which shows power distribution and relationships between great powers, which surround Korean Peninsula. Northeast Asia is a very important region of national interests of great powers. The strategic interests of the United States, Japan, China, Russia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea are particularly intertwined here. It is therefore not surprising that the integration processes taking place in this region are actively influencing the formation of a global political and economic community. It is indicated that in the globalization conditions the processes of regionalization, in particular in the North-East Asia, are also intensifying. The specific weight of economic relations increases both within the framework of regional formations of the ASEAN type and in relations with countries of other regions. It is noted that the development of the integration processes in the North-East Asia is based on the principles of "opened regionalism", which suggests that the flow of goods, labor and capital sources inside the region is complemented by sticking to the principles of GATT/ ITO and refusing any protection of the other states, and a development stimulation in the context of extra-regional economical bonds. It is noted that for the development of the integration connections between the North-East Asia states it is not necessary to establish the North-East Asia institute base for economic cooperation.
