Essay

The object of the study is tourism as a sociocultural phenomenon. The subject of the research is tourism as a phenomenon of the history of culture, its culture-creating function in the context of globalization changes in the important world. Through the use of interdisciplinary methodology, a comprehensive historical and cultural studies of tourism in the context of globalization processes was carried out, which allowed to form a holistic view of its essence, content, structure and influence on the development of world culture. The branch of science is cultural studies (сulturology).
