The thesis presents a fundamental study on Masters’educational and scientific training in terms of massive open distance learning courses in educational theory and practice of higher education in Ukraine and abroad. The author presents the characteristic of categorial-conceptual field of study, outlines the methodological basis of Masters’educational and scientific training, describes the essence of their training in terms of massive open distance learning courses, analyzes the level of the massive open distance learning courses at universities in Ukraine. The regulatory support of Masters’ educational and scientific training, and the technology of Masters’ educational and scientific training in terms of massive open distance learning courses are developed. The author's model of Masters’ educational and scientific training is developed and proved. Goals and objectives, as well as approaches and principles of the developed model are defined. The essence, structure, criteria and indicators in a certain direction and level of future Masters’ readiness to educational and scientific activities. The effectiveness of the author's model of Masters’ educational and scientific training in terms of massive open distance learning courses is confirmed experimentally. The author developed ways of further Masters’ educational and scientific training in higher education institutions.
