The object of research: professional training of the future teacher of physics. The aim of research: substantiation of the theoretical and methodical basis of training of the future teacher of physics for the organization of innovative activity of students in the learning process. The subject of research: theoretical and methodical basis of training of the future teacher of physics for the organization of innovative activity of students in the learning process. The results of research: the essence of readiness of a future teacher of physics for the organization of innovative activity of pupils was substantiated. Three interrelated components (motivational and value-based, cognitive, active and creative), which reflect the psychological, theoretical and practical readiness of a future teacher for the activity, were highlighted in the structure of readiness. The concept of preparation of future teachers of physics for the organization of innovative activity of students was developed, reflecting the idea of the two components of this training - the unity of its educational and professional aspects. The conceptual model of training, which contains its main components (theoretical and methodological, content-based, organizational and methodical, diagnostic and productive) and their elements was offered. The organizational and methodical basis of the implementation of training were developed, and the technology of organization of quasi-professional activity of future teachers of physics concerning the attraction of students to innovative activity in the study of physics was developed. The sphere of usage: the research results are implemented in the educational process of higher educational institutions, regional institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education.
