Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of digital elevation models. For the first time, an innovative method of cartographic predictive modeling for adjacent territories was developed for missing or insufficient soil cover information with the use of 14 types of predicative algorithms. The method of analysis of the dependence of the spatial arrangement of soil types on the extended set of morphometric parameters of the relief is substantiated. It was revealed that the use of hexagonal-raster DEM provides a higher level of reliability and objectivity in the study of space-time variability of soil cover and assessment of environmental risks (soil erosion, distribution of pollutants). It was established that the inclusion of additional 2.5d and 3d structural lines of anthropogenic and natural genesis in the digital mapping model of the relief, using tense regularized splines, allows us to correctly reproduce the meso and microrelief.
