This thesis presents a theoretical generalization and a new solution of the problem of professional training of future specialists of the social sphere to prevent maladjustment of pupils. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that the model of the system of professional training of future specialists of the social sphere (social pedagogues and social workers) for the prevention of maladjustment of pupils in various social institutions, as well as its scientific and methodological support has been developed, which allows creating a professional-oriented educational space in conditions of HEE (Higher Education Establishment) and partner network of social institutions. In the proposed study the theoretical comprehension of the phenomena of "maladjustment of pupils" and "prevention of maladjustment of pupils in the system of various social institutions" was made. The thesis reveals that the professional training of future social pedagogues and social workers to prevent maladjustment of pupils is aimed at the development of an integrated characteristic - the level of their professional readiness for the appropriate kind of activity, which are components of their personal and professional potential. In the thesis, a retrospective analysis of the literature is carried out, which clarifies the variability of methodological positions and, accordingly, reflects not only the very essence of the professional training of future specialists of the social sphere to prevent maladjustment of pupils, but also the many-sided ways of its implementation in Ukraine and abroad.
