Essay

The correlation between the biological and personal characteristics of an individual are examined from the perspective of a “gender” category and their influence on the individual physical development of boys and girls are considered and described. The main directions of research on the problem of introducing a gender approach in the process of physical education of schoolchildren of different age groups are identified, the methodology and the main scientific approaches to its solution are systematized.The study of value systems of schoolchildren of different age groups has helped to establish a hierarchy of terminal and instrumental values of boys and girls and to determine the models of their value systems in their personal behavioural features, as well as the models of their individual physical education.
