The dissertation is focused on the issue of Theoretical and Methodological Basis of future translators’ training in the informational and educational university environment.
According to the theoretical argumentation of future translators professional training and the results of the pedagogical experiment, it is defined a new problem solution of the future translators professional training through the optimal use of didactic possibilities of information and educational university environment according to the modeled pedagogical system.
The purpose of the research is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological basis to develop and experimentally check the effectiveness of the future translators training system in the information and educational environment of the University by means of information and communication technologies.
It is determined and characterized the basis kinds of software, which is necessary for the future translator’s professional work. The system of future translators training in the informational and educational environment of the University is characterized; its structural components, criteria, indicators and levels are differentiated. The system of the translators’ training in Ukraine has been described and comparative pedagogical analysis of the systems of the translators’ training in the USA, Canada and Ukraine has been carried out.
The practical experience of the electronic platform Moodle using at universities has shown that the system has all the necessary functionalities for creating multimedia electronic educational resources that are necessary for the professional translation disciplines teaching in the university’s information and educational environment.
The study has found the effectiveness of using the social Internet networks, Internet services and their capabilities in the future translator’s university training process. Studying in the informational and educational university environment allows: to carry out independent creative search in solving educational problems; to develop successful interpersonal interaction in professional activity and communication; to design educational and educational measures.
The conception of future translators training is theoretically substantiated, namely: purpose, tasks, regularities, principles of formation and development of the investigated phenomenon.
The study has found and theoretically substantiated the pedagogical conditions of training formation and the model of their realization; the development and experimental verification of the future translators training methodology, including the purpose, tasks, content, methods and methodical techniques, means and training forms, forms and views, were carried out.
The structural and functional model of formation of readiness for professional creative work of future translators was worked out and substantiated (aim; requirements for translator’s training; analysis and estimation of translator’s training; pedagogical conditions; components of readiness; levels of readiness; result). The necessary level of the readiness for future professional work, the methods and forms, tests, translation tasks for self-preparation were defined and worked out.
The pedagogical conditions of the pedagogical technology effectiveness of the future translators training in the informational and educational university environment have been determined:
intensification of the content of training of future translators by improving control and diagnostic methods of control;
the establishment of a comprehensive online training in the disciplines of professional and practical training: from theoretical knowledge to practical skills;
organization of individual work of students by means of information and communication technologies;
updating the process of future translators training on the basis of competence approach.
The practical value of the results is in the development and implementation of the training of future translators: different textbooks co-authored: «the Practice of translation from English», «Information technology in the professional translator’s activity», «French. Practical course», for teaching the professionally practical disciplines; guidelines for practical training from the disciplines; electronic educational and methodical complexes which are developed on the basis of the electronic platform Moodle and are located in the informational and educational university environment.
Formed readiness for professional activity of the future translators is defined by high, sufficient, medium, low levels according to the certain indicators. The effectiveness of the use of ICT in the formation of readiness for professional activity of the future translator was proved in the process of experimental research in practice. The authenticity of results was confirmed by the methods of mathematical statistics.
