Essay

The thesis reviews and structures a range of problematic issues of contemporary system of physical education regarding formation of health of primary school age children. The meaning of the concept Human Health is systematized, the factors which influence the conditions of human health in everyday life and children’s health during their studying at school in particular are defined. Significant attention is paid to the peculiarities of studying at primary school and complicated period of adaptation to its conditions. The results of testing the effectiveness of the proposed health-forming technologies in the process of physical education of primary school age children confirms the positive dynamics of changes among the indicators of children’s physical condition, optimization of adaptation processes to the conditions of studying at school, creates a steady interest of pupils to systematic physical activity and recreation. Generalization of the results obtained proves effectiveness of the proposed concept and its practical implementation through health-forming technologies in the process of physical education of primary school age children, which reveals the possibility of widespread use of health-forming technologies in the educational process.
