Essay

The dissertation is a complex scientific-historical research, in which the scientific problem of reproduction of the evolution of the scientific and organizational principles of development of domestic agricultural research work has solved on the basis of the use of a wide source material, a significant part of which is first introduced into scientific circulation and the latest methodological approaches. It has proved that methodological factors and conceptual forms of research were formed under the influence of socio-political, socio-economic and science-related factors. On the basis of terminological and periodization approaches, the characteristic features and trends of the origin and development of agricultural research work and agrarian education on Ukrainian lands with the disclosure of the personalized contribution of prominent agrarian scientists have been analyzed. The role of V.V. Dokuchaiev and V.I. Vernadskyi in creating methodological foundations of organizational models and conducting domestic agricultural research work was justified. The influence of the state policy of Soviet power on the process of building a system of scientific support for the development of the branch from the research fields to institutionalization and the academic form of research was characterized, and the specifics of research on the Crimean peninsula were revealed. The main features of the functioning of sectoral experimentation in the years of statehood were substantiated and the own model of conducting agricultural research work in Ukraine was formulated.
