The general hypothesis of the study is based on the assumption that different professional groups, whose members have a certain worldview, receive different feelings of the same stimuli and have different perceptions of their own professional field in a certain sense. It can be assumed that specialists belonging to one professional group, that is, have similar education, experience, culture, have common feelings and approaches to professional activity, so during the empirical research it is possible to study the specific features of their communication and behavior, and personal qualities which help them realize their potential in professional activities, including scientific and technical ones. It can also be assumed that there is no confirmation for a certain algorithm of professional activity at the point where narrowing of specialization starts. That is, while the vision of professional self-realization in scientific and technological activities is more or less common to representatives of the technical branch, the personal way to it is chosen individually. Self-realization as a component of personal development is a multidimensional personal formation, which determines the meaningful and dynamic characteristics of a specialist move to disclosure of their potential in the process of professional activity, and is manifested in constant creative search and provides a sense of necessity and usefulness of their actions, the maximum realization of self through professional development and personal alteration, as well as in socially meaningful results of activities and own achievements. The approved methodical toolkit can become the basis for conducting research in engineering psychology and personality psychology, for diagnostic assessment prospects for the development of a specialist by psychologists and HR-managers. The first chapter "Methodological and Theoretical Foundations of Personality Self-realization in the scientific and technical sphere" is devoted to the analysis and systematization of basic approaches to the study of the problem of personality self-realization in modern psychology; features of the modern scientific and technical environment are outlined; practical significance of the research is proven to be precisely the study and allocation of psychological indicators for differentiation and selection of the most effective specialists in scientific and technical activities. The second chapter "The Concept of Self-Realization lecturer in the scientific and technological activities" presents a sequence of considerations regarding the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the author's approach to the problems of self-realization of the technical university teacher. The chapter highlights the questions of personality properties, their value orientations and the mechanisms of professional activity transformation during the process of self-realization. In the course of theoretical substantiation of the components of the self-realization process in the scientific and technical activity, the space of professional interaction of the technical university teacher has been reconstructed and the prerequisites, factors and self-realization focus of the lecturer in the scientific and technological activities have been grounded. The third chapter "Organization and methods of empirical study of the peculiarities of the self-realization process of lecturer in the scientific and technological activities" presents a step-by-step methodological justification of the author's approach as an integrated system of views on the components and dynamics of the self-realization process of specialists in technical higher institutions. In the fourth section "Empirical study of the peculiarities of the self-realization process of lecturer in the scientific and technological activities" the data of the empirical analysis of subjective and operating factors, types of the process of personality self-realization in scientific and technological activities, structure of value orientations, psychological peculiarities of the humanistic self-realization of the technical university teacher are presented and their statistical significance is proved. In the fifth section "Empirical research of self-realization factors of lecturers in the scientific and technological activities" the motivational-value factors of self-realization, which predetermine the constructive and competent performance of a specialist, are substantiated. Elements of novelty or variability are identified in 6 experimental groups which differ in terms of self-realization and overall work experience in the scientific and technical field. The regression model of self-actualization of the technical university teacher is presented. Perspectives of the research. Based on the mathematical model, it is possible to construct a forecast for the successful development of a professional, as well as to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the forecast - studying and improving the prognostic function of the created models. The use of such models in practice will make it possible to significantly reduce information asymmetry between actual assessment of colleagues, administration and third parties, as well as create more accurate predictions of the success of the specialist's professional activity.
