Oriekhov S. Legal regulation of environmental protection in the EU

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study for legal regulation evolution of the environmental protection in the system of European Union law, its relationship and interaction with environmental international standards and national practices, its impact on European integration processes in Ukraine. The dissertation examines the history of the emergence of environmental policy and law of the European Union in the field of environmental protection, the evolution of which was due to the institutional and legal development of the EU, the expansion of international environmental standards of environmental protection, the emergence of new challenges and threats in this area and the peculiarities of the geographical expansion of Europe.
