Ruskulis L. Methodical system of forming linguistic competence of future teachers of the Ukrainian language in the process of linguistic disciplines studying

The philosophical and linguo-philosophical foundations of the formation of students' linguistic competence have been substantiated in the research. On the basis of the analysis of the concepts of "competence" and "competency", the essence of the concept of "linguistic competence" has been determined, which is the result of the assimilation of the scientific foundations of the Ukrainian language as a sign system and a social phenomenon; possession of language skills taking into account the close interrelation of phonetic, lexicological, grammatical, spelling and stylistic levels; operation of the facts on linguistics, historical investigations related to the problems of the origin, development and modern state of the Ukrainian language; ability and readiness to use the existing skills in professional activity. Linguistic and speech-communicative components of sub-competences of linguistic competence on the linguistic and speech-communicative levels taking into account information volume of linguistic disciplines of the professional training cycle have been characterized.
