Lukovska O. Arttextile of Ukraine in the context of the European experimental tendencies in the second half of the XXth - the beginning of the XXIst century.

The dissertation is devoted to the study of peculiarities of the development of artistic textile of Ukraine in the second half of the 20th and beginning of the XXIst centuries in the context of the European experimental textile tendencies and the definition of his place in the national and European artistic culture. It is proved that the art textile of this period is one of the most bright phenomenon in the Ukrainian art. It is revealed that the analysis of the characteristic features of the Ukrainian art textile is possible in the comprehensive study of the leading European tendencies which undoubtedly influenced the development of domestic art in general. It was emphasized that textiles like other decorative arts were closely linked with the general processes that happened in the European art and culture. The preconditions of the art textile revival in Europe are mentioned. It was found that the artistic problems were related to certain economic, political conditions, ideological and aesthetic guides, etc.
