Bokhan A. Environmental Diplomacy in World Economic Processes.

The dissertation is devoted to research of theoretical and practical aspects of environmental diplomacy in world economic processes. The evolution of environmental diplomacy is presented on the basis of its essence, functions, levels and models in the international economic relations and globalization. The economic and ecological nature of diplomacy has specifics and features of functioning. The concept of environmental diplomacy based on an interdisciplinary approach has been developed. The environmental imperative is increasing its influence on world economic processes. The clusters of environmental diplomacy are systematized with the aim of updating the tasks and activities of its participants, methods and mechanisms for responding to global problems, intensifying network contacts and economic interactions. The diplomatic aspect of the greening of competitive relations is disclosed as an instrument of soft power, the formation of market positions, leadership and improving the image of countries in the international environment. Environmental risks increase the importance of diplomacy and safety in the global economy, politics, social development and business culture. The effects of environmental diplomacy are analyzed with context of economic modernization, compromises in international trade and liberalization policies. The clusters of environmental diplomacy are systematized, environmental risks, diplomacy and security are discovered in the changes in the global economy. The vectors of environmental diplomacy are identified taking into account the modality of the actions of its actors in economic globalization. The importance of ecology in international economic relations is aimed at optimizing business communications between countries, stimulating the development of the eco-industry, supporting green modernization projects of national economies, taking into account foreign experience. The author's methodology for calculating the integral index of environmental diplomacy in Ukraine allowed us to determine the constructive and destructive factors of influence on it. Index indicators have different amplitudes but have the character of positive trends and growth prospects. The directions of environmental diplomacy of Ukraine are proposed taking into account the architectonic model of development and recommendations are given for reforming the diplomatic service.
