Kuleshova S. Development of scientific bases of technologies of customized apparel design

The work is devoted to development of scientific bases to apply innovative technologies in the processes of customized designing of garments for increasing their competitiveness based on consumers’ class stratification. The theoretical groundings of customized design of competitive garments are substantiated on the basis of integration and adaptation of the synergistic conceptual apparatus of expert systems application. Methodological groundings of fractal application as innovative technologies for research of complex systems "consumer", "suit", and "environment" are developed. The technique of assessment the appearance and personality characteristics of the consumer is developed in order to form an anthropometric database when visualizing an individual figure to determine the recommended color scheme of the outfit. Innovative technology of making a design decision has been scientifically substantiated. The technology is based on the formation of bipolar scales of design attributes that are used to evaluate an outfit. Such technology allows choosing the optimal design technology taking into account design situations and customizing of clothing models. The technology of forming an individual wardrobe using the methodology of customized clothing design based on the typology of design images in fashion industry is developed.
