Torichnyy V. Information support of state security of Ukraine in conditions of transformational challenges and threats.

Object of research: state security in the face of transformational challenges and threats. Purpose: development of the theoretical and methodological foundations of state and management analysis of the essence and features of the implementation of information support as a factor of national security in modern Ukraine. Methods: a complex of general scientific and special methods, induction and deduction, scientific generalization and logical analysis, comparative, structural modeling, sociological, statistical, prognostic, theoretical-conceptual, systems approach, normative-value approach. Results: an urgent scientific problem in the field of public administration science was solved by theoretical and methodological substantiation and the development of practical recommendations for the development of information support processes for state security. Novelty: the scientific concept of information support of state security has been formulated; the criteria for systematization and the corresponding forms, types and directions of information policy of modern states to ensure information security have been determined;improved methodological apparatus adapted to the problem of information management of state security; the provision that the problem of ensuring information security is a problem of the development of the information society and is fundamentally different from the problem of the functioning of the state in the post-industrial period; provision on the essential relationship of the world global process and the process of ensuring information security; formalization of theoretical and methodological developments and conceptual and constructive solutions; received further development: a theoretical approach to the formation of a strategy for information support of state security; methodological approach to the development of the concept of information support for state security; a practical approach to improving the efficiency of government agencies through the automation of their activities; clarification of the essence of the definitions "information support of the state security of Ukraine". Introduced into activity: by the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in the Khmelnytsky Region, the Executive Committee of the Khmelnytsky City Council, the Department of Education and Science of the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration, the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnitsky.
