The thesis presents a theoretical generalization of the scientific problem of training future teachers of natural-mathematical disciplines for the application of STEM technologies in professional activities. Theoretical and methodological bases of research are determined, the set of organizational and pedagogical conditions and complexmethodical maintenance of the system of preparation of future teachers of naturalmathematical disciplines for application of STEM technologies in professional activity are determined and characterized, and also the set of twelve principles which observance will promote the effective realization of the systems are determined. The concept of training of future teachers of natural-mathematical disciplines for the application of STEM-technologies in professional activities is formulated and substantiated, which reproduces the author's vision of changes necessary for its implementation and ideas about how these changes should be implemented. The concept expresses the following characteristics of the phenomena of study: 1) features of the professional activity of the teacher of natural-mathematical disciplines in the conditions of STEM-education; 2) features of the process of training future teachers of naturalmathematical disciplines for the use of STEM-technologies; 3) the main stages of the process of preparation of future teachers of natural-mathematical disciplines for application of STEM-technologies; 4) a set of organizational and methodological principles that will ensure the effective implementation of the process of professional training of future teachers of natural-mathematical disciplines for application of STEMtechnologies; 5) author's vision of the results of preparation of the future teacher of natural-mathematical disciplines for application of STEM-technologies in professional activity.
