Essay

The theoretical and practical principles of a differentiated approach for children with behavioral and emotional disorders are considered. It is proved that such children need the use of functional-behavioral assessment, plan of positive behavioral intervention, adaptation of the environment and, in the presence of intellectual disabilities, modification of educational material, children with double exclusivity (gifted children with ADHD) need a special approach to construction of educational process. The model of the system of complex support for children with mental disorders, on the basis of differentiated and individual approach to children with hyperactivity and attention deficit in inclusive educational process, is described. This model is based on close cooperation of multidisciplinary team with parents of the child and should be supported at the level of state educational policy. The methodology of accompanying children with mental disorders (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in the educational process, which is useful for all children with mental disorders and can be used by a wide range of teachers, is presented and experimentally revised.
