Prokopiv M. Medical and social substantiation of the optimized system of prevention and medical care of the population with cerebrovascular diseases at the level of the metropolis in the conditions of health care reform.

The thesis is devoted to the solution of an important scientific and practical problem of health care. A set of problems in the organization of medical care for the population of Kyiv, which has cerebrovascular diseases and their complications in the form of cerebral strokes. The optimized functional and organizational system of medical care in the metropolis at the present stage of society development and healthcare reform has been substantiated and developed. The system is intersectoral and includes, as components of the solution to the problem in the city, the authorities, the public health system, the social protection service, the palliative care system, the private sector, public organizations and investors. The components of the system require structural adjustment, continuous improvement of the professional level of medical staff, informatization of the health care system, formation of a responsible attitude to personal health in the populationє.
