Pogrebnyak M. New directions of dance of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century: historical and cultural preconditions, cross-cultural ties, stylistic typology.

In the thesis on the basis of a wide range of literary sources and of artistic practice for the first time in Ukrainian art history a comprehensive study of historical and cultural preconditions carried out, definition of stylistic typology, identification of cross-cultural parallels of new directions of theatrical dance in Ukrainian ballet of the 20-th - early of the 21'st century. The cultural and historical preconditions of reforming the academic ballet theatre and the emergence of new forms of stage dance at the turn of the XIX - early XX centuries are revealed, in particular, it is established, that the philosophical and artistic ideas of the second half of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century acted as a powerful stimulus for the formation of creative personalities in the field of choreographic art.
