Essay

The thesis is a comprehensive research, devoted to the theoretical and methodological substantiation and experimental verification of the system model of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational work with schoolchildren. In the study for the first time the meaning of the concept of “educational work with schoolchildren” as an important component of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation is revealed. It provides a creative approach to forming, disseminating and consuming the values of world and national music culture. The functions of music education at school are determined, namely: worldview-cognitive, aimed at forming a humanistic worldview of the individual; axiological, which is focused on the formation of value foundations of creative solution of meaningful life problems, translation of socially significant artistic values to the inner world of schoolchildren; praxeological, which provides mastery of the basic historical forms and methods of artistic activity of the mankind; creative, which promotes the search for new, non-standard solutions that go beyond existing experience, creative self-realization in musical and pedagogical interaction; aesthetic, aimed at forming aesthetic spiritual abilities of children and youth in the process of art education. The current state of development of the issue of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational activity with schoolchildren (normative-legal provision, goals and principles, content and means, scientific approaches to organization and implementation) is characterized. A polyartistic-centric approach to implementing future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational work with schoolchildren is developed, which takes into account their creative self-realization and contains goals and objectives, sources and factors of content construction and pedagogical conditions of musical art teachers’ training. The principles of forming future music art teachers’ methodological readiness for educational work with schoolchildren are systematized, namely: clarity in presenting musical material; variability of the content and forms of educational work; cultural conformity as an identity of the content of musical and educational activities in the cultural space; musicological orientation in educational work with schoolchildren; humanization of art education; unity of ethical and aesthetic in educational work; activities of subjects of educational work; individual approach in music education; interactive orientation of future musical art teachers to educational work with schoolchildren; reliance of a music teacher on creative communication with the student body; emotional educational work with schoolchildren; art and aesthetic therapy of educational work with schoolchildren. Conceptual foundations of the system model of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational work with schoolchildren are developed. The motivational-cognitive, reflexive-conscious, cognitive-oriented, communicative-empathetic and creative-activity components of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational work with schoolchildren are theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified. A system model of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational work with schoolchildren is developed, which includes principles, functions, structural components, pedagogical conditions, system of author’s means of pedagogical monitoring and methodology containing organizational forms, methods and stages of implementation. The content, component structure and criterion-level organization of the monitoring of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation are revealed, which allows to estimate the dynamics of students’ readiness formation for implementing educational work with schoolchildren. The pedagogical conditions of future musical art teachers’ methodological preparation for educational work with schoolchildren are substantiated and implemented.
